Nick Maneri’s Model A Roadster

Nick Maneri and his father have taste. Great taste in fact. They appreciate how things were built back in the day. When it came to building a classic hot rod they already knew what the recipe was—a ford roadster body on a 1932 Ford frame, V8 flathead, fat whites, black paint and red tuck-n-roll interior. Like any father-son project, things take time. This was no quick build, and it shows. The amount of detail in this build is noticeable from every angle. They sourced all the right period-correct parts over a few years in order to keep every single piece of the puzzle just right. Not only do they have great taste, but they know how to turn a wrench. Their blood, sweat and tears went into this project. In honor of Nick’s late father I feel very fortunate to have documented their project when I did. Shot for The Jalopy Journal.
